A different lifestyle…

Recently my daughter and her husband became what are called “vegans”, I believe.  I admire them their courage and commitment. 

I wonder IF my husband and I could ever make that sort of a change.  Lord knows it would probably be better for BOTH of us.  We both have high blood pressure, controlled cholesterol, and I have type two Diabetes.

It would probably take us nearly two weeks to begin the new lifestyle due to the current “stores” we have on hand in the ‘frig, freezer and pantry.  Why  not cold turkey??  Honestly we can’t afford to waste that food.

    I definitely don’t blame you on not wanting to waste the food. I’m sure it’s good, too! I’d recommend easing into being vegetarian. Maybe just stop eating red meat and adding more fruits, veggies, and whole grains to your diet. Then you can ease out the other meats in another week or so.

    Ryan and I went cold turkey but we’re weird. :)

    Is dad even interested in this?
